my normally lovely gelding has the whole winter off to recover from a pelvic injury- hopefully.
he's finished a stint of box rest and has been out in a smallish paddock on his own with loads of grass for about 4 weeks now. he's surrounded by all his mates as well. he is now absoultely full of it. not sure if he's just feeling better or he' bored. he can be a nightmare to lead too and from the field, including rearing, cantering sideways, fly bucking and squealing like a pig. he was spotted today cantering round and round his paddock for about 15 mins non stop today! what should i do?? should i just ignore his silly behaviour or should i try do some basic ground work with him. not sure whether i should repremand him when he farts about but fear this will just get him more worked up, was thinking of just ignoring him compleaty and dragging him in!!!
