Horse bitten tongue of

A lovely big hunter type on my yard has a massive chunk missing off his tongue, it happened before the lady that has him now got him so over 10 years ago and has never been a problem. He has qualified for HOYS in hunter classes so doesn't affect his way of going either.
 
Thanks Sue so glad your horse has made a remarkable recovery and has performed well since. The tongue is quite amazing in that it heals so quickly and animals deal with it so much better than us. Im sure you like the rest of us have had ulcers on the tongue and know how much they kill.
