Horse boarding on the BBC - foot in mouth syndrome strikes!

I was doing some filming for the BBC today - they are doing a piece for one of their weekend breakfast news shows on horse boarding (towing a mountain board and board rider behind the horse). All I was there for was to ride the horse whilst they filmed the boarding, and then tow the presenter. But then they blimmin interviewed me! Not only did I sound like a bit of a moron, I completely put my foot in my mouth as well. I said something along the lines of how I enjoyed it because it was much less pretentious than dressage...that wasn't what I meant!!!! What I meant is that it is much less formal than dressage so I don't get as nervous.

So apologies to anyone who happens to watch it...I do like dressage, honest!
 
I'm hoping that as we were there for 4 hours for a 2.5min segment, that they will cut me out entirely! (sorry to scare you!)
 
Dealing with the media can be difficult >g<This morning our local radio station telephoned wanting to talk about a Tib Mastiff that has been sold for £1 million. I had to wait whilst some music finished and whilst I did so Peter Parrot started shouting. It wouldn't have mattered if he had shouted politely but he was yelling 'For F----s Sake, For F---s Sake''. I hasten to add I did not teach him such language. I got an attack of the giggles but OH was mortified and rushed to put a blanket over Peter's cage. He was just in time and our foul mouthed fowl was kept off the airways :))
