Have moved yards and rode out with YM today first hack. To cut a long story short her horse got away from her and ran for home. By boy followed I stayed on and manged to pull him up just before we hit the main road- hers carried back to the yard and got back safely
Hacking tomorrow and I'm now worried my boy has learnt a nasty habit
Advice experience please
 
Don't go the same route, don't wind yourself up about it. Consider teaching him that a good tug on the neckstrap means emergency stop.
