Hi i have the chance to swop chasis to a 2000 VOLVO FLC 7.5 TON , any one got any ideas if they make good or bad choices for horse boxes?

My husband drives one of these for work he says go for it! Ones that he likes are daf and volvo. dislikes ford, iveco (which are the same thing)
Hope this helps

thats sounds good, i remember some one tell me that one type of suspension on breaking drops the front of the lorry but for the life of me i can't think which one

i have an old cargo which i am having trouble with brake parts and this is why the change the containor is only a couple of years old

I avoided volvo's when looking

I'd prefer a DAF any day as the parts are much cheaper and far more common. I think its been said on here before that Volvo's were good for HGV, but crap for little lorries.

just watch the weight of the chassis on volvo - they are approx 400 kilos heavier than Iveco and DAF chassis. Good truck but heavy, which is why very very few 7.5 tonners are built on them.
