Since I never really "chose" Ned, I will talk about Sharkie, one who I had a small part in buying 
I remember seeing his ad online and thinking "What a pretty boy!" YM, her daughter and friend were going and since I wasn't working that day, I asked if I could come too
We went to the wrong house at first, who funnily enough had a black horse too! We knocked and knocked but no one answers. We feared we had been taken in by a serious timewaster.
We called her and she said she was about a minute up the road! Oops!
It was love at first sight. We had to have him!
We knew he was a bit spooky and didn't hack alone, but he was such a friendly boy and loved YMs little daughter.
Friend tried him out and yes, it was now 100% confirmed, we HAD to have him!!!
Paid and took him on the day
Although he had about 6 months off just a few months after we got him, due to an injury, we still love him
