I tried NAF Magic last night to try and relax my horse as she is still being marish with the horse in the next patch. She became lame when they were put together as she galloped around the field so I had to separate them again to rest her leg. She is now sound but I will try anything to keep her relaxed to avoid any further set backs! NAF Magic syringe didn't seem to do much at all. Can anyone recommend anything else? Thank you!

The only ones that really do anything are those that contain L-Tryptophan, such as B-Kalm or So-Kalm or Anxicalm. The magnesium only ones are far less effective.

i find "serenity" works very well...it isn't instant though, takes about 7-10days to get into the system but it certainly has a calming effect once in the system.

i personally don't think any of the quick fix "instant" calmers work TBH......

Yes yes yes. TopSpec Calmer worked on my neurotic boy a treat.

It had no effect whatsoever on my horse! Just goes to show that it all depends on the horse and what works for one doesn't for another.

We've had success with Magnitude.

I used a Magic Calm syringe on my new horse on our first ever competition - don't know if it helped the horse that much but knowing he'd had it made me feel heaps better!

I have used Naf Magic on my 'stress head' the syringe worked to a certain extent, but I have been putting the powder in his feed everyday now for about a month, he is so much better now (but I suppose it could be the heat and the fact that he is out a lot more now) but he is so much calmer - he is chilled now, it's lovely!

I use Nupafeed and it's definitely had an effect on my boy. HE actually lets me ask him to do things thigns now rather than going "I don't understand" and throwing his toys out of the pram, could never get him to leg yield until I put him on it, he'd just spin round in a circle and leg it to the other end of the school!

Big thumbs up from me also, I presume you mean Equimins Serentiy?

If its just to restore day to day calmness and get rid of any excess silly energy then this stuff works if fed as a suppliment everyday, agree takes a while to kick in but worth it.
