Are they really friendly?I have never been to one before but have seen one that I think would be right up my street and a nice gentle introduction. Its called confident partners.I am a very mature rider will that matter??
i went on one 2 years ago with huntingdon and district RC , and it was the best thing i did, for me and my horse! i highly recommend you go, you wont regret it! At our camp it was varying rider ages, so everyone fitted in! hope you give it a go!
Yes, they are really friendly, I've even been on my own before! Of course it will not matter you are a mature rider, sure there will be lots of mature people there!
I've been on my riding club one twice and it was great. I did know quite a few of the people already through the riding club but have had friends go to a camp where it's just run by the equestrian centre where it's being held and they said everyone is really supportive of each other even if you're strangers at the start. I was terrified the first one I went to but was so proud that we went, survived and actually enjoyed it. Our riding club is all ages from early 20s up to late 50s/early 60s! I hope you do go and really enjoy it.
