As above she went for a roll and got stuck could not get up, lucky other liveries were there( thank god) and made their way to her.
They tried to get her up and no luck so they undone rugs and dug around her, with a bit more effort she managed to get up. I now have her in stable, my questions are.. how can you stop a horse getting cast in snow? would an anti cast roller work? Diy and no-one lives there.

In her stable with 4 hay nets and a big bundle of hay on the floor in the corner, and a deep straw bed, she will be checked later by another livery as I work nightshift.

How frightening, glad she is okay. I don't see why an anti cast roller wouldn't work although have never used one inside or out before.

she is 16 yrs and in good condition, the girls said she was very tired and shakey after she got to her feet, I rugged her and let her back out today as all roads like ice, dont want her stuck in a stable and the first thing she did was roll.
