Hi,
Have today cleared out my obsessive winter rug collection and found about 5 6' and 6'3 pessoa and rhino rugs all good condition just a few rips but still very useable, but I wont on my girls they have enough already. There used to be charitys that cryed out for rug donations, I just wondered before I ditch them, if these charitys requiring rugs still exist!
I can drop of to devon and cornwall.
Hope someone can help!
Ta!

I don't know but I'll bump up your post. I think this is an excellent idea - if we have another winter like the last one surely the rugs would come to good use.

A bit further away than you want, but WHW have a centre in Somerton in Somerset and Horseworld are in Whitchurch, Bristol.

I took a lot of stuff to Horseworld, including rugs, and they were delighted. They have their own laundry, so old muddy winter rugs are welcomed, which is just as well :D

I donated all my rugs when i lost my horse to leahurst equine hospital. They dont allow your horses to keep their own rugs on because they have had people trying to sue if their rugs get ripped etc.. so they now provide their own. Any equine hospitals near you do that???

Thanks for all the reply's will contact SWEP tomorrow as they are nearest, I didnt want to throw them, there maybe a horse grateful for them nest winter, they come with designer mud, but sure this can be washed.
Would rather donate to a charity than the vet's all the ones around here are rather wealthy!
