Just had a lovely call from a lady who has one of my horses on loan and ask if i mind if she brings the horse back.
Obviously i dont, but the reason made me laugh, its because the horse is too quiet.
Not all 4 yr olds (nearly 5) are scatty and mad and very forward going, must remember in future not to do so much work with the horses in advance of breaking them, so they are not so quiet

Oh Gosh never heard that one.
I know a few people who have returned horses for the opposite reason and would have your hand off for a lovely quiet youngster!! :)
Sounds like a credit to you.

She is a complete dote to be honest, just takes everything in her stride and nothing has ever bothered her to date, but then she has been out pounding the roads since she was 8 months old, so would be amazing to find something that would bother her now lol.
Think the loanee was thinking she would be more forward going and challenging as she is the age she is
