We are having ridden problems with one of our boys that has gotton out of hand. All the usual checks have been done and the professionals that have seen him, from instructors to vets, think his problems may be mental rather than physical. Has anyone ever used a horse communicator and could you recommend a good one near Bath? Thank you!

I haven't but I have always thought that my horse might actually be totally mental, not in a joking way! she does some odd things, like bites her tongue when she is stressed. I always wanted to get someone like this out to her, but never knew where to look, so would be interesting to see what they have to say about your boy!

Anne Dee did both my boys a few weeks ago - was a bit of a sceptic beforehand but the things she told me, especially about my young boy, were amazing. Would definitely recommend her!

Thank you all for your replies. I confess to being a sceptic too, but after hearing a very experienced horsey woman in her 70s rave about one she had out (and this lady won't go near such new fangled things as treeless saddles!) I am beginning to think it might be a way of knowing my boys better.

Iv had good readings, one was very scarey, I went into shock as it was so true and things she could never know but iv also had a general Reading from the same lady which could off applied to any horse.
If it was me I would spend my money on a full body thermal image myself. Iv had 100% sucess rate with that

I have a prediction :D

Horse Communticator (lol) will arrive and assess horse. They will tell you that the horse does indeed have psychological problems, and quite bad ones. Luckily though, they will inform you that's it's nothing they can't sort out - but that it will take multiple sessions.
They will then rip you off for about £60 and book you in for next week.

Horse Communicator will then laugh all the way to the bank.

Sorry if I sound cynical but please do let us know how close to the truth this ends up....!

:D

Seriously, good luck with the horse....but IME fads like this are usually nothing more than a new way to get ripped off

:)

Have to say i 100% agree with this ^^

we have one visit our yard regularly (name mentioned on this thread in fact) am yet to hear one thing to convince me she can communicate with animals... best of luck OP i hope you get to the bottom of the problem (what ever avenue you choose) with you horse

I've had 2 of my horses read, the first reading was amazing the second not so brilliant - I think also partly because the land line wasn't great, I couldnt really hear and also the mare being read was probably not the best candidate- I dont quite know how to describe her.. she isnt bothered by a lot in life, she isnt materialistic and doesnt need other horse friends. She did make me laugh though, she said about one of my other horses is 'always farting' apparently farting was her word she used, when in fact she is the one I call farty bum-bum for her large amount of flatulence. Horse's tend to shift the blame to others you will find!

The first reading was done with my much friendlier and more out going youngster. He said about the way I always kiss him on the head at night and say about his beauty and breeding.. which I often remind him of. She even picked up on some issue in his shoulder which when I went out to investigate found a tight muscle exactly on the side and area she had said, which I then loosened off for him.

I think also not only does the communicator have to tune in with the horse but you do too. You have to really concentrate and listen and I feel open your mind to allow the horse to express itself - I see the communicator as a translator to what your horse is really wanting to say to you.

I totally believe in animal communication. Animals have far more intelligence than a lot of people really believe, and can tell us more than we can imagine. I'm even saving up to go on a course, not only will it help me in my future career I want to fully understand my horses, not just pick up on the snippets I pick up on from a day to day basis, like the other day I had a horrid session with my new 4yo, we really werent getting on. So we called it a day and I put him back in his field, normally he is such a friendly horse and will stand around for cuddles and kisses on this day I heard him say 'We are not friends' I said to him 'Im not friends with you today either' with that he walked off, even when I went to poo pick I was totally ignored, this is his usual time to play and annoy me! We're all good now though and since then his behaviour has really turned a corner as far as our training is concerned :)

Im crazy I know :p

Ann dee is amazing, I didn't believe before I had her but we've had her for years now and we've had a yard visit and over the phone, a lot of our liveries use her too and we've found her to be very accurate and know things she can't possibly know and I'm not one Of these people to accidentally feed her information! I think she is better over the phone that in person

Oh puh-lease!! She can 'read' your horse.....over the PHONE??

Sorry if I sound rude, I reLly don't mean to....but it's such a load if old tosh!

You don't NEED to feed them info - if i was her and had a loving horse owner on the phone then 'you kiss him on the head each night' isn't exactly a stab in the dark - and saying about his beauty and breeding etc isn't exactly something many loving owners would dispute.

I bet I could 'read' any one of your horses right now :D

That is just your opinion... you seem to have missed out on the other fact that I stated about his shoulder... not really a stab in the dark.

If you think you can read my horse then do so.. I shall give you a brief description on one of my fillies and you can see what you get from it, I'll even give you a picture to help you! :)

Name:Bunty
PBA,
13 months old.

Please do read her for me :) I'd like to see what you come up with!

I have the feeling it would only work if you talk to the owner - IMO this is a reading on the owner and not the horse, and hearing how you talk about it would give the 'communicator' all the clues they need to go on :)

You are right, this is only my opinion.....but it's come from seeing things like this with other people and it's not one I'm likely to be changing any time soon :)

And as regards his shoulder - it's impossible to know without knowing what you had said to her, but most horses who are ridden have stiff muscles in the shoulders/back/neck etc, and if you said anything about how he goes she would have picked that up. That's what these people do - they are very clever.

Haha! :D

Love it, you are going to be inundated with "So, read THIS one then!" comments now. I have to say that on a forum such as this it would be easy, with a bit of legwork, to discover quite a lot about some horses.

I don't see why a communicator should have any details at ALL, other than perhaps a name. I have a horse named REBEL - carry on ...... :) (to save research, he's never been mentioned on here)

I have never had any dealings with them other than what I have read on forums so I am not qualified to comment either way to be honest.

Although, I would be a hypocrite if I said that I was entirely sceptical as I used to go to Spiritualist meetings regularly, and I am/was a huge follower of Betty Shine. http://website.lineone.net/~enlightenment/betty_shine.htm

Indiat, if you want to go down that road, then do so, it may help, or it may be a waste of money but only you can judge that.

Well he was 11 months old and therefore unridden. This was the first thing she picked up on. I gave her exactly the info I gave you on my above filly. I knew nothing of his shoulder until she said about it so no posts on facebook, forums etc. I literally answered the phone said hello! she told me about how the conversation would go, I said right ok, she begun. None of my emails previous included anything about my horse or what I wanted to find I out.

I think there have been far too many incidents where it has been proven that communication with animals exists to brand it as a load of old tosh.

Enfys is right though, now you have promoted yourself to be able to read any horse you will be ambushed with people wanting free readings.... best get your crystal ball polished up :p

Ok then :D

Judging by your fillies condition I would say she is well cared for and loved - this pony is very special to you....correct??

Shes kind but gets on with you better than anyone else....?

I would hazard a guess that you bought it rather than bred it, and also I would guess that judging by it's lovely and different colouring and kind face you fell in love with it and paid a little over the odds.......?

I would also take a stab at you planning on keeping this pony for at least the forseeable future and hoping that she will be a very special ridden horse in years to come. I am basing this on the fact that not many people buy yearlings to sell on straight away.

I could go on :D

But like I say, my opinion. It's up to you to believe whatever you want and I hope it works for you :)

Now that's £50 please, cheques in the post if u don't mind! :D

Or will tell you what they can find from google, facebook etc, likewise with those claiming to be psychics (or what ever BS name they brand themselves as...)

I think someone should have a go at Deacon for fun :p Ill happily be super naive and give you money for it

Patterdale you do make me laugh, you do get good ones and bad ones. The good one I had done was via a e mailed pic with my name NO MORE!
Apart from the general stuff which comes up she also picked up on the fact he was off to slaughter and I was his last hope and said I mustn't ride him as he was dangerous!! Oh to right he was, she discribed him down to a T. I can tell you I was totally shocked and will never forget the moment I read that. So I had another one done on my other lad again via e mail with my name and she said general stuff like he's a tb ex racer which yes anybody could see and it was more general but did say she had a picture off me hunting him but missed the meet and caught up down the road which was spot on but no worth £50 but it got me thinking that they is some truth in it.
Brave person I think to say my horse is dangerous and mustn't be ridden when the pic showed a fit cob fully clipped out. Which was due to all the ground work I was doing with him but looked like a fit cob hunter by the pic

Ok DGE, here is your reading :D

My first 'vibe' from this horse is that it doesn't actually belong to you personally - am I right? Or perhaps hasn't done for very long...she doesn't 'feel' like yours.

Perhaps this is because she lives in Willy's shadow?? ;) But I
suspect it's something else.

So once you clear that up I can continue.

Either way I don't see him wearing pink xc colours at the moment.....;)

£25 will do for now please...and I don't accept dollars!

:D :D

Watch that the big one doesn't eat the small one....that's my warning.

If you want any more than that I'll need a bit more time to go through your old posts *cough* I mean 'tune in' to the animals feelings....:D
