I'm sooo bored tonight, so Question for you all. How does he look? He is Shire X.
I was jsut wondering in general what you all thought. I was reading an old copy of Stephen hadleys Training the Showjumper and my book on Conformation so just wondered what are your evalutaions. Either way I love him so - please be brutal. Also pic isnt fully side on and its Not me riding - Hense face blanked out

FROM WHAT I SEE HE LOOKS GOOD BUT CANT REALLY TELL ON CON AS NEED TO ACTULLY SEE HIM FOR REAL BUT HES NICE I HAD A 16.3 SHIRE LIKE HIM

He's got a lovely shoulder - is he a bit dipped backed?

He is croup high rather than Dipped Backed - although, now I think about it aren't they in a way the same thing? I've always wished he could be 1-2" higher at the front - at at 12 I don't think thats ever going to happen now

I've always though his shoulder was rather upright - which makes for an interesting canter - heaven when he is working well under himself, but like a lolloping table when he goes flat and on the forehand.

It's a shame that pic makes his 2nd thigh look very small!

I think his shoulder is slightly upright. He looks a lovely boy!
