Horse Dad: Need lots of advice

Hi Guys,
So not quite at buying a horse stage yet, but bought a Fautras 2 horse trailer to ferry the kids and horses around. Currently using my Renault Master DCI90 to tow, but as you can imagine its slow up hills. And where I live we have lots of those.
So my question is with a budget of 8-10k what should I buy to tow these beasts?

Just convert the Renault Master ?

Seriously though, I can't help with towing advice but lots of people can and we have a few horse dads on the forum, so welcome.

I'd have to stick a new engine/gearbox in it. I wonder whether that might just be cheaper.
