Saw this horse advertised at this incredible price

........ He was advertised this summer on the same website for £3,000 less

Can only assume (IMHO) that he was sold, returned and has somehow increased in value - can't see him being worth anything like..

Its that site thats all, they charge STUPID prices for horses because apparantly they have all been through 'bombproof' training, most of them have the worst confirmation and looks ever so when they get a nice looking one they charge a fortune, that cob has been on there for a while now, ridiculous price in my opinion.

Apparantly they get them used to planes, tanks etc, but they also sell horses on behalf of clients and if you want your horse 'bombproofing' I think its about £1500 !!

And I note the DVD is free if the horse is bought UNSEEN!!!

Now what dealer in their right mind would want to sell a horse unseen? If only to meet the buyer and ensure they know one end of a horse from the other.

Sounds a dodgy as h*ll to me

p.s, Wouldn't pay more than £2500 for a horse like this unless it's competed. For £9500 I'd have wanted it to have done Open Workers Affiliated and won, but like someone on here said, he's too big.

Totally agree about the unseen thing!

Ivwe known dealers sell horses to people who have never even tacked up or sat on a horse before, they obviously dont giive a toss about the horses.

That bombproof site has a sister site too, lazy-plods. Same horses I think

Unfortunatley a horse is worth as much as some idiot is willing to pay. And likely as hell someone will pay stupid money for him! IMO £9500 is stupid.
A dealer would only pay about £1200-£1500 for him

I saw this horse advertised on Simply horses in September...He was for sale at £3000 or £3500,I can't remember which. I know it was him because I enquired about him but he was sold immediately.(I have a photo of him saved to pictures in my computer as I thought he was EXACTLY what I was looking for and used his picture as my 'benchmark/stamp'') He is stunning and I thought £3500 was quite cheap but £9500 is absolutely ridiculous. They obviously saw him, bought him and turned im round in a few months ,but hey ho,if they get that price for him then good luck to them! How Icome I always seem to LOSE money if I sell a horse????? He is an absolute beauty though, don't you agree??

The horse is not worth £9500 as a show cob, even if he were the correct height. The conformation is not good enough to make it at top level. We discussed this horse on another site a week or so ago, and the other fact pointed out was that the horse (although advertised as safe and bombproof) looked very anxious and was waggling his top lip which is not normally a sign of a laid back horse.

This is a £3000 cob, or less if he is not as safe as they say he is. Talk about jumping on the cob bandwagon!
