Horse dealers

Would anyone know where I could find information online about cases against horse dealers who have deliberately misled a buyer?

I don't think this is in breach of t&c as I am not asking for names, but info of where the start looking for details.

Any advice, please can you pm me to avoid getting wrists slapped

I'd check with your local trading standards, see if they've had any complaints.

Thanks, yes I've spoken with TS - these individuals advertise as (P), yet sell several horses a year, so can be classified as dealers.

What is the purpose of finding out the information? Is there a dealer in particular that you are concerned about, or do you just want to find out who to avoid?
If Trading Standards don't know, googling is about the only other possibility.

Ok, what constitutes a dealer? is it a minimum number of horses sold a year? And what about selling on behalf of an owner? this must count as dealing?

Try googling the phone number, which will also how if they advertise under different names

Done that. Several adverts - all with (p) next to the name, for horses and ponies.

I think it's more than 3 horses a year and you are classed as trade.
