Horse dentist qualifications

Hi everyone, I wondered if any of you could tell me the difference and what training is necessary to become a fully qualified Equine Dentist compared to an Equine Dental Technician??

Maybe you could ask an other dentist even if you don't use them they would probably be happy to help?
I thought you were the one who wanted to train to be a dentist!
I used today for the first time since I've brought my horse over in the UK (I'm from France originally) an equine dentist, Waine Abbott, have a look on his blog but I'm pretty sure he is Equine dentist technician!
Maybe he would be able to give you some info?

They are one and the same - but you need to look for one who is on the BAEDT register and is BEVA qualified. Always ask how qualified they are and if you want to know about a specific one, PM me and I'll find out for you.
