One of my horses is done every 6 months and one is done annually. This is based on recommendations from the dentist for each horse - they wear their teeth down differently so I think it's different for each horse.

Mine are done annually as recommended by the horse dentist as (touches wood frantically) they have no probs. My old one had to be done every 6 months as he got older. I would always go by what the dentist suggests.
 
Ralph is done once a year when he gets his jabs done, I usually take him to the vet, he requires sedation, due to a heavy handed dentist.....

TBx is done very 6 months as she's prone to choke, ponio will get hers done once a year (vet was fine with this).
