I'm trying to trace a kind, sensitive professional horse disposal company that covers East Sussex and probably Kent as well. If I remember correctly there is someone called Robert but I cannot find his number anywhere. Thankfully this is not for my horse but for a friend. Any ideas please?
 
I have always found the hunt to be very professional, coureous and sensative when asked to destroy a horse. They would always be my first port of call.
 
Could it be Diplocks? They are based in Hailsham I think.
Found them to great when had a horse at work put down.

But would second AmyMay - the hunt are also very professional and sensitive. Southdown and Eridge around here, can get you the number if you want?
 
Diplocks are in Ringmer, not in Hailsham and looking at their website they offer a cremation service. One of them is Robin - could that be the Robert?

I have used Greenfields in Crowborough, they are very professional, kind and a lot cheaper than vets/ Cherrytree.
 
Hunts are often good. I couldn't recommend Diplock's highly enough though. It's family run from Ringmer and the brothers are outstanding. Caring and sympathetic but very good at their jobs too.
Sad times. :(
 
You would definitely be thinking of Diplocks....their other wing is Harry Hawkins....is one big family. Having had to use them recently under very traumatic circumstances I can highly recommend them for their superb service.
