horse eating wood

anyone any ideas? my horse has just started chewing wood, she nearly destroyed my bosses horsebox the other day and i tied her up today and she started eating the stable door. anyone any ideas what she is lacking in her diet to make her eat wood and what i can feed to replace it? thanks

Sounds more p*ssed off or bored rather than a diet problem

Suggest squirting chewable surfaces with anti bite product or tobasco.

Haven't managed to stop mine eating my tui bar, so carry duct tape for repairs to trailer....
