Hi there
I have a rising 7 year old - had him as a four and a half year old - and generally been a lovely horse. Just lately though, when out hacking, he has a tizz which results in him shifting sideways and totally ignoring my leg and aids asking him to move back over. In the school he produces some lovely lateral work, so he understands the aids well enough. It's always when he's wanting to canter and I'm asking him to stay in walk - so seems an obvious evasion to me. Thing is I really don't know how to deal with it now as he ignores the usual aids - and advice please? Thanks.
