If you're in London and have a free hour, I recommend this exhibition at British Museum. It's quite understated and fascinating. Look at the bits that they excavated from BC times. They are not very different from what it's going on today. Oh and it's free. And British Museum is always a lovely space to hang out in for a while.

I'm in London tomorrow for a meeting so hope if I have time when I'm done and before my train home to go round it :)

Been meaning to find a friend to take along to the exhibition. Non horsey OH doesn't fancy spending a couple of hours with me looking at horses!

I went to this and enjoyed it. Non-horsey OH and his mum enjoyed it as well. It's quite small so they didn't feel like they were being dragged round it all day. I'd recommend it!

Look out for the 'pre purchase godding'. Instead of asking a vet if the horse would be fit for purpose, they asked the gods. Some things never change....

Went yesterday! Non horsey OH really enjoyed it too; found it fascinating! I would recommend getting the audio description as well - had tons of interesting stuff!! (they were doing BOGOF for £4.50, so not too bad!)

I couldn't resist the lovely book, too ;)
