Horse fall, lameness same side fore and hind

Just wondered for experiences where horse has taken a bad fall on one side

So my horse is lame front left fore and hind.

Full lameness work up … know it’s front lower fetlock and stifle but nothing showing on X-ray or ultrasound.

Having 4 weeks of rest with v limited turnout, (spent 10 weeks on box rest over summer 10 weeks with strangles), then doing MRI.

Looks like he’s done some nasty, possibly in stable or following summers box rest, and just wondered if anyone experienced anything similar ?

Can you clarify when the fall was? Recently?

Hi vet is assuming a fall as lameness all on left side? He spent most of the summer on box rest. He’s had no heat or sign of injury on either leg at any time. However he’s very lame.
X-rays all great no fractures aritritis.
Assumption is it’s deep muscle/tissue trauma so I’m hoping it’s fixable as only got him in April … gone from strangles which needed 6 week’s treatment at vets to severe lameness…

I hope that he’s just tweaked himself somehow and will come good soon.
