Horse feed and supplements

I am sorry if this has already been asked but I'm finding answers confusing.

I have a 4yr old TB Mare who at the minute is on allen & Paige calm and condition and Chaff (a scoop of each) twice a day and is in light work. I have only had her two weeks and now she is settled in I need to start and look at her food.

she is not thin but needs to add some weight - The calm and condition suits her really well as she is not "fizzy" at all - what can I add to this to make her gain a few pounds that will not effect her temperament?

I have looked at all the chaffs and the supplements and now my head is spinning Lol!

I used calm and condition with my youngster and he needed a bit more as well. I also fed him Alfa A Oil and a good glug of linseed oil too. He also had Feedmarks Original Balancer just to ensure he was getting everything.
This worked to a point but then he grew and went ribby again so I switched him to Weight Gain mix which did the job brilliantly but did make him a bit fizzy.

It's trial and error really but initially Id up the oil and see how it goes.

I would add micronised linseed, its pretty cost effective and doesn't whizz them up.
