Horse fly bite

Mine has come in with what looks like a horse fly bite ?

We have had a a lot of horse flies we’re were

Anybody else had anything similar ?

Mine gets bitten through the fly sheet and mega strength repellent, she's tasty.

Battles summer fly cream is a repellent and anti bacterial. I smother it everywhere. Its bright yellow mind.

OP, I wouldn't worry about that. The location means it is more sensitive (thinner skin) and also gravity causes the liquid in the swelling to accumulate at the lowest point, so it looks worse than it is. Bite cream/sudocrem if it's itchy and long term your fly goo of choice on the area (I favour a mix of benzyl benzoate and neem oil).

One of mine is exactly the same this morning - are you sure you've not sneaked in and taken a piccie
