I got my mare in from the field yesterday and noticed she had two swollen lumps on the side of her neck, my YO said these are horse fly bites. I recently saw a thread on here about treating horse fly bites but now I need it I can't find it! Typical! 
it's not that warm here, infact it's been raining all weekend with abit of sun yesterday so I haven't bothered to put the fly rug on! Do I treat these or not? They aren't really that big!
