Hi all, Just looking for a loan horse at the moment but haven't found any suitable so far. I have searched numerous websites. I live in Chesham, so roughly around the Buckinghamshire area. Does anyone have any opinions or friends with horses up for loan? Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Finding a loan horse depends on what you are looking for (and can offer the horse). Generally if you want something of a good size, sound and a good all-rounder (or good at a specific discipline), people don't just loan them out very much... so, what are you looking for?

You said on another post that you're "under 14".
You know that a loan usually has an legal agreement that needs to be signed by an adult, yes?
Can we presume you're helping your parents with the searching part but they are involved in this? A horse owner would need to talk to your parents, look where the horse is going to be kept, judge if they (not you) are experienced enough to care for it.
How invested are your family in your riding? Would they have 2 hours every day to drive you to do the horse, before and after school ?
If no, maybe a part share would suit you better than a full loan, if you feel you are outgrowing the riding school.

Sorry haven't been on the site for a while. I'm thinking part loan because with still being in school I wouldn't have the time for full. I am also thinking a eager to please but not really fast. Quite safe and not really spooky. Otherwise I don't really mind. I am tall so not really under 12hh. A good canter because I have now learnt to canter independently. Not a really big jumper because I am not really fussed by jumping but I like a good hack every so often.

Yes I was already thinking part loan and my parents pay for me to have lessons once every 2 weeks but sometimes it is more often. I have to pay though if I want extra lessons.
