So, we went to see a horse that was for sale today - lovely mare, would be a bit of a project to get going again. One of the things we were told is that she doesn’t like other horses (particularly geldings) going behind her. She doesn’t do anything, just gets a bit unsettled and moves out of the way. This is something that can be worked on slowly but she has been a brood mare and has been covered naturally so am I right in thinking this may well be the reason why she is funny? I have no experience with breeding but this was my thought.
