Horse gone off his food?

Horse has started to not finish his feeds - he dosent get very much, he gets couple handfuls of chaff with mug and half of stud balancer, and mug and half of outshine morning and night.

He is getting quite a lot of work at the moment and is getting quite fit - could this be why he has gone off it? He eats some of it and leaves about half of it at the moment.

He is turned out during the day for appx.6 hours and gets soaked hay at night.

Any ideas why he is only eating half?

Maybe he's just bored with it.
Have you tried adding some apples/carrot to make it different? Or mixing in apple juice? Although he might then get bored of that!
