Horse hair bracelets and what to do with her shoes

I lost my mare a couple of weeks ago and my lovely friends had the foresight to take some of her tail and I would like to get bracelet made but there seems to be so many companies - just wondered if there was any recommendations ? I also had her shoes sent back to me which have been cleaned up but I would like to have something done with them. I don't want them to be some sort of shrine to her (have seen some with pictures in the shoes etc ) but wondered maybe about having something made out of them again if anyone has any ideas

depends very much on personal taste with the jewellery, so many companies around. I've not decided on a company yet but have thought about Hamish and Ozzie, and tailendjewellery (I think), has to be silver or gold fittings for me as I'm allergic, and don't like, the base metal ones, or the resin ones.

Shoes. You could have them cleaned and put in a box frame with a photo (or one of them anyway) or you could have the set made into a trivet, or some decorative item. Your own farrier might be able to do that for you, or there are numerous companies about on facebook that make things from shoes for you.

I have used Tailend and have got some amazing pieces from them, they are on facebook, Re the shoes I had some of my old boys silver plated and they are really amazing its like looking into a mirror they are so smooth. Sorry to hear of your loss, but both of these things are real treasures to keep hold off and no one can take your special moments away x

One of my friends had 2 of her horses shoes turned into interlocking hearts by the farrier and I thought they looked lovely.

If you google images "horseshoe heart" it was like the one with the purple bow
