horse hair bracelets - please help

I had to have my horse put to sleep a few weeks ago. I kept some of his tail hair as i wanted it to be made into a bracelet. Does anybody have any recomendations or know any companies that do this. Thank you very much! x

i have literally just sent mine off, 4 months after losing my girl! took me a little while to actually put it in the post, but i went with tail end jewelry. there is also horse hair jewelry. the only difference to me was which design i preferred.

Ooo this sounds like a nice idea for the owner of my loan pony. She is going to college for a year, and I plan to get the pony to 'write' to her, and maybe I could send her a bracelet from some of his hair?

This is just the information I was looking for; my daughters horse had to be put down last week and after saving some of the tail hair we decided to make it into something she can always remember him by.

I got mine from the above link. I chose the fine link chain plaited with horse hair as we didn't have much tail and it was too fine for a chunky bracelet.

i made one! i plaited some of my horses hair, glued it to a strip of suede, glued on a silver fastener, voila! Not perfect, not proffesional, but personal.

i'd be happy to make one for you, but it won;t be best quality! They're cute though.

Personally I think they are all a wonderful idea and they do provide an attractive looking keepsake to remember your horse or pony by.
I am sorry to hear of people's recent losses
