This is NOT an advert - just so I don't get told off by TFC !!

I saw a thread on here a couple of months ago and http://www.shpangle.co.uk/ was recommended for horse hair jewellery.

Can I just say a huge thank you for the recommendation, I just received my bracelet and I am thrilled. All 3 of my cats and my horse have hair set in each piece of it and their names are engraved on the back :D

I have photo's in photobucket - but just trying to work out how to upload them !!

Cannot recommend Mick highly enough, and I now have a unique keepsake of my 4 :D

I've got some jewellery from Mick at Shpangle too, I have two resin heart pendants with my mare's hair in and I love them. In fact, he did a blog feature on me in February as I did some photography with the pendants I've got and he did a little feature on me and my photography!

I think I was one of the ones that recommended Mick on here. Your bracelet is really lovely, have you got all horse hair in there or is there some dog fur too? :)

Thank you Muddygreymare :D Two of them are my mare Bonnie - the white hair, though he did have trouble with one of them as the hair was almost translucent! The other 4 are from my 3 ragdolls - 2 of them the oldest cat - Theo as he was my 30th birthday present and has a special place in my heart - not that Minstrel and Barley aren't just as special I hasten to add.

I am thoroughly impressed at the quality and the personal attention to detail , now thinking of getting friends gifts of their own horses hair too !!

I love it, so thanks again :D

Just got these made for my friend Julie. She helps me out at the yard (turning out at the weekends - saves me over 60 miles - mine is a 30 mile round trip to the yard).

I sneakily stole some of her mare Tara's mane and had these made up, aren't they gorgeous. An inexpensive special thank you gift that I thought were so beautiful I'd share a photo :D I just love Mick at www.shpangle.co.uk 's work
 
Mike at Shpangle made a gorgeous heart pendant with a bit of our old pony's mane in it. I had it made for Mum for xmas. She loved it and so many people have commented on it and asked where it was made. It was fantastic to find someone who can create these keepsakes/jewelry for a reasonable price. I love some of the precious metal based work that is about, but can't ever imagine being able to afford it!!!

I will certainly be ordering again in the future!! :)

My friend has worn hers all weekend, and says she loves that she can have a part of her horse with her wherever she is - which really is the whole point of them I think.

Glad your mum gets as much pleasure from hers too CP :D
