Hi, havent been on the forum for a while but i had loads of help over the summer when i found out my mare was carrying a surprise foal. Sadly he had an accident in the field on the 6th of this month and his injuries were too severe to save him (he ran through fencing and severed his nerves in his hind leg), he was just coming up for 5m old. I am absolutely devestated as you can all imagine.

I took some of his mane and tail hair as a memento but i dont know what to do with it, i would like a tassel made to go on his dams saddle and something for myself, just a reminder of my gorgeous boy. ive found lots of wonderful sites in america, dreamcatchers, jewellery and artwork, but wondered if anyone could recommend someone in the uk?

Ok may be i am a bit morbid but i have my foal bit of tail on top of her ashes and my older horses i always take a large piece of tail and take which ever hair bobble i am wearing out and usethat to tie it up with it and they hang on my bedroom wall above their ashes
That way each morning they are there and i say good morning to them before i go to the yard to see the other horses
