Horse hair

My Aunties horse has been diagnosed with a spinal problem, I can't remember exactly what it is but it's VERY rare. He can't be rode any more and he was a star, he's only young so it's very sad. Currently he is happy in retirement but we all know that the time will come and we'll have to say goodbye.
I'd like to get her something to remember him by so has anyone ever bought something from anyone who makes things from horse hair? I've seen some key rings that look lovely but welcome any recommendations

On the horse and hound website there is an article about things to get horsey people for valentines day and on there there is a bracelet that you can have made out of your horses tail. There is a website on the page. So sorry to hear about the horse. Hope this helps.

Look on facebook for 'Hairloom Keepsakes' Made me a lovely one has several designs and is very reasonable. She even made me one out of cow tail hair for the OH!

I got one made by Hamish and Ozzie for myself and one for my sharer from horsehair jewellery (on facebook) both were lovely bracelets and were very quick to respond whenever you contacted them.

I just had a bracelet made by 'The Burnished Horse'. I was very pleased with it and the turnaround was very quick.
