Re: calmers - they won't "mask" symptoms will they? Worried that if I use one he may have something physically wrong but then will seem to tolerate it.
I don't think magnesium based calmer would mask any pain issues if that's the cause. i did have my horse scoped but i was really lucky as the bad behaviour happened just when the local horsepital was offering free scooping on an awareness week. so i didn't have to pay for initial scoping. insurance co coughed up for gastro guard and re-scoping. after 4 weeks they had all gone and he's been a saint since. good luck
