I am totally fed up with horses to be quite honest. I have put two on the market and am considering selling one of the mares too.

You make your fields as safe as you possibly can, blah,blah,blah............they have acres to roam in, so why does the stupid horse choose to roll 3' from the gate and get himself well and truly tangled up in it ?

There was no way I could get anywhere near him (to do what?) Finally his struggles lifted the entire gate off it's hinges. Thank God we had not reversed the hinges otherwise I think we'd be looking at broken bones rather than a few superficial scrapes.

Apart from daily 'maintenance' and selling those two, I'm having a break for a couple of weeks from all things horsey.

oh dear, these things are sent 2 try us, tbh a break will prob do u good, but remember most ppl wud give their right arm to have at least one horse...

I don't no what makes horses do it and they don't learn from it either!
I break sounds like a good idea. I think you can have enough of horses and need to get away, it doesn't mean you don't want them anymore.

I know how you feel!

Tex is the worst I have ever seen! I cannot wait to get rid of him!

Now Chester could be left in a stall full if barbed wire and daggers and not get hurt but put Tex in any situation and he will be sure to find the danger option!

Who are you selling??

Horses, without doubt, can be the biggest pain in the butt, especially when you have a lot of them, but you will get over it, honestly you will.

We had a trial tonight and I'll tell about it later, but it's just one of those things - horses are what they are and in my case I make a good enough profit on my horses to know that hiccups come and go but at the end of the day, it's definitely worth the aggro.

Cheer up! It'll get better - it really will.
