Well nappy horse excelled himself today, so have decided that it is in both our interests to try and find him another home. It is such a shame as he is a lovely gentle boy and good in all respects except this going out alone business. Over the past 3 months I have really tried everything, taken on board everyones suggestions, but at the end of the day I bought this horse to trundle about on when I retired from work and its not happening.
So if anyone needs a cuddly 15.2 coloured gelding with thick ankles that never wants to hack alone or is up to beating this pm me ! Very sad decision as I actually like him v much he is a real sweetheart and if I cant find a suitable home I will have to keep him as a field ornament, but feel hes too young yet to retire (15) and I do have a 22 year old field ornament already.
Off to put an ad together now,
creeps off sobbing

Good luck finding a lovely new home for him. Hope you find something more suitable for you and he doesn't damage your confidence!!

xxxx

Oh hun, it can't be easy but I think you have made the right decision.

This owning horses malarkey is supposed to be fun! Fingers crossed he finds a lovely home and you get another horse to love (albeit one that enjoys hacking!). It sounds like he is a lovely boy and I don't think it will be difficult to find someone for him.

Hard decision for you, but the right one probably. I was in this situation a year ago with my coloured cob, and sold him for a similar reason. I now have a fab fjord who does everything I want - you will find another horse more suitable for you xx

Don't feel bad. I'm sure you'll find him a lovely home and the right horse will be out there for you.
