Hi I've got a friend she's had her horse for about 3 years now soon after she bought him he started with thrush and she thinks the owner covered it up to sell him. She is by no means a novice owner and has tried every treatment to get rid of the thrush. She's had the farrier and the vet out numerous times and they don't think it's thrush anymore but are still saying it is because they don't know what else it could be. It smells and looks like thrush (his feet go black in the grooves next to the frog I've forgotten it's name sorry). His feet are throughly cleaned and treated everyday. Any ideas about what it could be or what it is? Thanks
