because your in the school i would have said yes but would she be a little off balance?! i dont really know. why not check with your instructor

ive competed my horse affliated BD with a shoe missing. However she dosent go lame when she looses a shoe - it totally depends what your horse is like.

Archie pretends hes loosing a limb when hes lost a shoe and hobbles around the place! So i dont ride him if hes lost one.

I hate to say this, but my daughter carried on riding Shadow for a few days when she lost a shoe (but then we only shoe in front). The farrier said yesterday it had done no harm. I would think in a school there should be no problem.

I would say no. I dont know why but I always ride mine in the school if they lose a hind but not if they lose a front.

I would say maybe to school if he isnt lame. But def not jump. Just my opinion though

depends on how good you horses feet are. Jumping will put pressure on the front feet on landing. personally with mine I wouldnt jump but thats a personal opinion and i know how frustrating it is to have to cancel a lesson you are looking forward to! I agree with Jane I school with if loose a back shoe but not a front.
Is there no chance of getting your farrier up before? or is that totally out of the question have to admit mine is fab an will normally turn up if i am desperate

Agree with HJ. x

60% of the weight goes onto the front, so expect Skye to be a little unlevel, personally would not jump due to this. Actually whenever Donkey removes a front shoe - she has it down to an art - I do not ride her until it has been replaced.
