Horse has Scratch on nose that's not going..

My horse has a scratch on her nose and it's not going, any tips to heal or cover it? She did it 5 months ago, not sure how.

Is it still sore or is it just that the hair hasn't grown back? As long as it is not still an open wound, Gold label Wondergel is great for encouraging hair growth
