Horse hates herringbone travel?

I have a Highland gelding, who loads and travels amazingly in our trailer. However when we go out with our friend in her lorry, he loads fine at home, but does not want to load on the way home.
He looks to travel well from the camera, and all floor etc have recently been checked.

Any ideas why a horse would dislike herringbone travel?

I suspect herringbone isn’t the issue if loads to leave fine and travels well. Leaving home is usually a far bigger issue. I suspect it’s a mixture of adrenaline and excitement that comes out in not wanting to load.
