I thought I have to share this with you, as I am normally a non-believer, and people that know me will be suprised at me using a "horse healer", but after physio, vets, osteo etc and horse still not quite right I thought why not?!

I was reading a book called what horses say by Julie Dicker, and she is a horse healer for the likes of Noel Edmonds, major vets in the country and got some really good results, she unfortunately has died but a lady called Ann is now doing her work. Ann wanted a piece of mane sending to her and would call me when she had "tuned" into him and tell me what she could find. She phoned within 3 days and said the following;

My (the horse) back is sore on 7th cervical vertabrae, my pelvis is sore and intercostal and lat dorsi muscles, my front fore is painful (he was without shoe at the time!!) I have had a bang to my head and have headaches, I dont like pony nuts and haylage as give me gas, and I like a loose rein when hacking. I have had a very nasty castration and therefore like my w*lly rubbed!! and also weaned at 5mths and feel very sad.

This is strange because the horse did have a bang to his head about three months ago and made his nose bleed, also the osteo said that cervical and pelvis was out slightly, he has only lost one shoe on front and being flat footed this hurts him, also since changing his feed to what he said he wanted, he is eating up really well. He is also the only horse that will go into a trance when tickling around the w*lly region.

Don't know what anyone else thinks but the hairs on the back of my arm stood up when she was telling me this!! This is very close and uncanny!

Dont know about the new lady, but my daughter had Julie Dicker to talk to her ex racer and she pinpointed lots of things that had happened to him. Daughter said it made her cry when she read the report but the old ned is so much better now. He had a pelvis problem due to racing and falling, cant tolerate garlic and also has a gassy tum and spookily he had hit his head on a low stable beam. Hes 17 now and ridden out in a dually halter, very happy boy.

I had Julie Dicker read a mare of mine about 3 years ago and she was spot on telling me, amongst other things, that my horse spent a lot of time standing in the bog in her field but it made her hoof sting and feel hot. She did indeed have quite a boggy area by the stream which she always seemed to be standing in so we moved her straight away.
Please could you let me know details of the woman that has taken over from Julie.

do you have an address/e-mail/phone number for this woman??? would be intereding to see what she says about my mare as i dont know anything of her past as got her to stop her goin the meatman! she's a strange one not trustin at all is loads better with me now but doesnt like men an awful lot!! and shes head shy!

My boss had Julie Dicker talk to oneof her mares, it was quite strange, It was winter and I went down in morning to muck her out, and her bed was a complete mess, totally churned up and looked like a muckheap (she was normally so tidy) mare seemed okay but told my boss about it cos was worried in case she had a touch of colic, later Julie phoned and said she had tried to talk to sass but sasshad told her to bugger off she didn't want to talk to her she would tell her mum ! (my boss, who was very into healing etc)

Please can I have details of this women, would love to know about my new mare

That sounds spooky. Would love to know more about this woman! I used to think this sort of thing was b*ll*cks until my brother did distance healing on my dog and cured it! This woman sounds fascinating.

I found Julie Dickers book an inspiration, this is such a lovely read can't recommend it enough. Have lent it to lots of people who have lost their horses or having problems and it has helped them. I was really sad to find out she had passed away as would have loved her to have visited a couple of horses on our yard. Would be very interest in getting Ann's details if she ever travels to do this thing in person around the kent area, I know Julie helped a horse on my instructors yard when she moved to Cornwall and found out the problem with that horse too - was backed up after vet couldn't work out what what wrong and x-rayed the area she recommended, horse turned out to have cracked it's shoulder!

Hi ... i had someone out to me just before i had my old girl pts she was 32 and i thought i would give it a go .. i had out Margrit Coates, she was very good she told me that the horses insides were shutting down and she was very week and that she fell over and hurt her back end which only i knew as i was walking her out .and she said that (she the horse )had a great time with me growing up as a little girl as i was 3 years old ,and she said that i used to wear odd socks

Great post, very interesting. Do you have any idea how much it generally costs? Would love to give it a go. Thanks,.

I too had a reading a few years ago by Julie Dicker which impressed me greatly. Also had a reading by Margrit Cotes at a clinic organised locally which wasn't so near the mark - although one of the things that she did say was that he had been badly kicked by a person in his stomach when in Ireland which had made him hold himself in pain for days. As the part of his stomach that she pointed too was an area that had previously swollen badly after a Bowen treatment (but was now no longer swollen) I thought it was possibly true.

The final healer I had to see my horse was at the recommendation of my blacksmith who is very hard-working and does not waste his money easily. He had the healer to his own 3 horses after being greatly impressed with what the healer had told people at a yard he shod at. My blacksmith was so impressed with what the healer told him about his own horses (and dog) that he recommended I have him to my horse.

I arranged a visit with high hopes but the 'reading' wasn't quite what I hoped. Said horse didn't want to be here - I said you mean he wants a new home - he said No he didn't want to be born. He said horse in a previous life had been in battle - rider had asked him to go forward and he didn't. (Napped in previous life as well then). Horse was hit by a shell - fell and killed the rider - and this is what he has been sent back in this life to come to terms with. Said horse had major psychological issues but he would help him if I wanted. B**gar the horse I was now in "shell-shock" with major psychological issues.

Everybody always bursts out laughing when I tell them this story but the readings for my blacksmith's horses were so accurate and with details the chap could not possibly have known I thought it was worth a go to help my boy.

Am keeping an open mind on the topic.

Thank you for posts - really suprised I though you would all think I am on crack or something!!!

I so wish Julie Dicker could have come out to see the horse, that book made me cry when I read it, it was so moving.. I will pm everyone that wants Ann's number and I hope she is as good as she was for mine

- I am also sending away a piece of mane for my other neddy to see what he thinks about me?! Hope it's good as we have a good realtionship (or so I think, lol)

She told me lots of other things about Pagan too - he said my hands were too hard sometimes and that short whips scared him, but not bothered about schooling whips too much, also that he wanted a handful of dandelion leaves once a day for a week to help his kidney and liver feel a little better...etc

No problems, I hope that she comes up with the goods on all the horses she reads and that mine was not just very very lucky? She seemed very geniune and gave me 4 major problem sites with him, back, leg, pelvis and head, and the osteo agreed every one, so fingers crossed.

we have had a healer talk to Dee, was very strange, reading the email she sent to us made my mum cry and i had tears in my eyes. I didn't post anything about it as some people we have told thought we are just wasting our money and think it's stupid!! Dee is all together happy in herself, she's cantering around the field when she feeling better and playing! Just after dee cut her head open, my mum phoned the healer and asked her what had happened...Dee said she had hit herself on a big thing that her hay is put in, on the wall (how can anyone know that we have a hay rack on the wall outside?!), She also said something about her breeding...Dee thinks she is Connemara x Welsh with maybe a bit of TB in there (exactly what HHO poeple cam up with!!)....

I think it's amazing what these people can do.
