what do you think iv got a 15.2 heavy weight cob and when i bought him he traveld to my yard in a trailer with a pony he traveld fine with this pony . i then booked him for a saddle fitting and took him and another 15hh cob in my ifor 505 and when we got to the saddle fitters he was steaming with sweat on loading him to go he kept looking at the partion like he wasnt sure but he did load . so on the way back he didnt want to load but did so in the end for food on the way home he stummled a few times cutting his coronet band on his hoof . i was scared to death hed go over in the trailer and it felt like the longest journey id ever made i was a wreck . iv got full lengh breech bars for this trailer so i could travel him without and cross tie him the cob he traveld with to saddle fitters is a very good travler . so he wouldnt of been the cause of it . my trailer is 2 years old and i bought it from new it states it carrys 2 16,2 hh horses so do you think at 15,2 hh hed have enough head room but just needs more space . its now comeing to the time to start puting him in and going for lessons and getting him in the show ring . iv not put him back in since that day because it seems to have shook me a bit . and id of towed eney were before this im on the verge of selling it and buying a ifor 510 what do you think

Height wise trailer should be fine but I would be tempted to try him on his own without the partition - if he travels better this way you may then need to consider a wider trailer, but don't know how much wider a 510 is.
I had exactly the same with my old cob who was only 15.1hh but we could never travel him with a partition in, as he would fall over - as soon as we travelled him without one the problem was solved. He would choose to stand diagonally across with a front breast bar.
Good luck!
