Out of interest can I ask how tall are you and how big is your horse?
I'll start off - I'm 5'4 and have a 16.1hh WB and 15hh welsh cross anything bigger seems like a mountain

i'm 5ft 8 and i have an 19 month old gelding to make about 16hh ish i used to work in an equestrian centre and just had to ride anything from 13hh to as big as they came x

im 5'3'' and usually ride my 15.3hh tbx, but also hav a 14.1hh lw cob youngster (rides much bigger) & a 17.2hh ex-hunter (& yes i do look slightly stupid on him! but hes a saint!) prefer things about 15.3-16.1hh as they just feel right.

I'm 5ft2 and i have a 13.2hh welsh pony, A 12.3hh new forest (forest bred) and an 11.2hh welsh sec a. I ride bigger horses for other people i used to show a 17.2hh show hunter but i just love ponies and they are cheeper to keep.

I'm 5ft 6in and have a 15.3h WB now. Feel fine but in photos would be happier with a tiny bit more height, hoping when he gets topline it will look better

have had 14.3h WC, 17.3h ISH, 15.1 WC, 16.3h TB longest and most comfortable with 16,1h WCxTB

I'm only just over 5ft and have a 14.1hh riding pony, also ride my sister 13.3 fell.
Used to ride some big hunters at work which wasn't too bad if there was a big step lol
Was taking a friends horse, he was 17.3 into an indoor school at the local equestrian college, they were doing vaulting training there and some of the students were watching.
One of the girls asked, as i lead him in, if he was mine, luckily he was so good and would hold his head down to get bridles, headcollars on but it was a huge struggle to get a saddle on.

Iam just about 5'4'' and have a 15hh welsh x TB. Retired pony is 14.1hh and I used to ride her. Now look after some hunters between 14.2hh and 16.2hh - ride all of them. Prefer them smaller to bigger. I used to have several TB's all about 16hh.
