I`m toying with the idea of taking off for a week in the beginning to mid-september. I have some money saved in the bank so I need recommendations of good places to go. The place must provide accomadation or have b and bs close by and I don`t drive.

The Share is coming to an end soon which I am quite sad about so I want one last really good horsey hooray

If you got this far thank you for reading.

Well.

There is what i would call a classic relaxing holiday destination that i couldnt speak more highly of! It is in Italy, the place is Assisi (Umbria) and the the place we stayed was called Santa Maria Degli Ancillotti. You can treat it as a B&B or as a hotel, i have never been so relaxed in my life! You can go up into the mountains and you will find beautiful horses! I didnt get to ride but im there are a few places around there were you can.

Also Romania.. there is a centre called Stephan cel Mare, they do 9 day holidays. You fly in to Bucharest and then go on a train to Lunca Ilvei, its all on site.. so no car needed hehe

I haven't been myself yet (although I'm hoping to head up for a few clinics in the future), but I have heard Castle Leslie in Co. Monaghan is meant to be brilliant! They have over 300 cross-country fences built by the Willis Brothers, beautiful scenery for trekking, and you can also have side-saddle lessons there

Looks very good, I`ll be going by myself and it seems to all be unguided. Bit worried I would be partnered with a non-compatible person!.
