Horse Holidays

Hi can anyone help !! i am looking for a place to take my two childrean and there ponies away for a few nights, would like it near a beach to take them and ponies riding along the beach. and ok for bikes, also need a yard to keep ponies and place for us to stay ... any ideas ???

Field farm is supposed to be great, Ive had lots of friends take there horses there. They're right next to the beach and have XC course.

We do horse holidays by the beach and 5* accommodation but in Ireland unfortunately!

Little Lodge Farm in Suffolk is great we are going in March, if you have your box with you you can take the horses to Holkham beach which is AMAZING!!

Not near a beach, but this is where the OH and I go on a regular basis. There are loads of rides both on and off road.

Have a look at North Norfolk, I'm sure you'll find holiday cottages and somewhere for the ponies with Holkham beach nearby. A friend used to take her event horses to practice at Sussex farm, Burnham Market and stayed at a cottage nearby.

Hi, if you are anywhere near Somerset, there is Ocean Lodge holiday park in Brean. It has a sand paddock from which you ride straight onto the beach and static caravans to stay in. We have been several times and always had a great time. Its very well set up, all you need to take is hard feed for the horses.

If you want a good ride down the beach at Brean, I have an open invitation to ride with my OH's cousin. He is an ex-steeplechase jockey and his horse a retired racehorse. He is on the beach every morning.......at 4.30am
