Hello :) I anyone fancies doing a bit of horse hunting I'm looking for...
1. Ridden Shire Horse, bigger the better, doesnt matter if it a x but must be mainly shire and over 16hh, also safe and sain to ride!

2. Schoolmaster event type 16hh-17hh must be able to take someone from unnaf xc/ode to Pre novice/novice. Must be an easyish ride and of had expierience, under 10yrs old

3. Traditional Show cob, 15hh+ be capable of affiliated showing, nice enough ride and under 8yrs old!

4. A fjord! None on horsemart are any good/been sold..must be ridden and safe!

Doesnt matter where in uk (based oxon) Prices under £10k!:)

I've got a super maxi cob type, he is brown, ID x welsh, 7yrs, about 16hands but proper short legged show cob. He's had a few outings dressage and jumping, am getting ready to take him to first showing class in April. He's got a smashing trot and loads of charisma. Am down in Devon if he is of any interest? Sadly don't have any photos to hand as stupid computer died and ate them all!!

15hh (barely but immature rising 5) traditional going to Malvern Sales tomorrow any good?! (No-one would travel to Wales to view and has to go due to illness, bit sad.)

What a shame you are not looking for a fantastic, doesn't put a foot wrong schoolmistress JA who will win up to 1.15m all day long, perform a decent dressage test and go cross-country who wasn't getting any interest and is now priced so low to sell as daughter is out of ponies. I couldn't tell you any more or I too may get reported for advertising :D

15.1 6yr old ISH, good basic education, jumping 2"9 at shows, 3"3/6 at home, very scopey - will go far with confident competant rider. A real pleasure to own :)
(£3000)

15.2hh very attractive black Irish gelding, rising 6 years. Done some PC/SJ/XC/Fun rides/Dressage (placed several times) Nice temperament, now ready to be brought on further (I don't jump!) Bargain at £3250! Can email photos if you PM your email address.

Sorry not sure how to post a new topic? But I was just looking at Featherbedhorseandponies based Stratford upon Avon?

I was trying to find out if anyone has any experience of purchasing as they look like they have some very nice horses for sale. I am looking too but only since yesterday for a 110% traffic the lot etc type for hacking out as well but am not in a mad rush, just started as my old boy I have retired yesterday. Not sure if you have looked at this site, I suppose they may come into the category of dealer? not sure, Good luck but I bought my last horse from horse and hound adverts from private home and obviously was very lucky as I did look at some bad ones and met some unscrupulous folks too. It is soooo time consuming but I am sure worth it for the right horse.

Good luck, probably not a good time of year to buy a horse either
