not 100% sure this is were this thread belongs but

A friend lost her horse a year ago been looking for a new horse since

but there is nothing on island so has been looking all over the UK

views over 100 now lost 4 as sold before she made a move

and 2 failed vettings shockingly

now shes found one she really likes being told my a man called Harry Evans

but she has had run in with dodgy dealers in the past (4 years ago ended up with a horse who was an insurance write of all got very messy)

so shes nervous, any one ever dealt with him? worth it? or don't go near?

I'm pretty sure that same guy has been on there
He's maybe called 'harry's ponies and cobs' or similar

Funnily enough a friend of mine recently acquired a horse which had been through his hands, and quite honestly the horse is lovely and no major issues have become apparent - however this may be the exception rather than the rule..

Over a 100 views - how does she have time?!

Perhaps she means over 100 views online but not actual physical views?
I hope so, I saw 17 horses and thought that was excessive.

I'm not shocked at 2 failed vettings though.......................

THIS!
sorry guys i dont mean she has been to 100 horses !

shes been to about 15 in person, if i am honest i saw 9 and fell in love with my gelding and have never looked back

but my poor friend hasnt been so lucky, although i am beginning to wonder if its more shes not properly come to terms/grieved the loose of her mare

It's probably a combination of the horses not being her mare and bad luck. One of my clients viewed about 20. Two failed vettings; we couldn't believe it at the second. We then found Mr Perfect. £2,000 over budget but by then she was desperate. Bought him, 2 weeks later he turned psycho. No bother said I, settling in ... I got on him and threw me into next week. Tested bloods from vetting and doped up with painkillers and other stuff I can't remember. Dealer uncontactable, of course. Dealer disappeared! CCJ against her if she ever turns up again, but omg what shitty luck! Then a week after the court case, we found the perfect horse online, checked it, rode it, vetted it, bought it!
