Horse hunting losing the will to live

ooh nice spot hollywoozle!

OP - even if its a distance, there are cheap travellodges ;) I often did a 2 day trip to view horses and kipped over somewhere. Just see if you can find a few others to see in the area - usually a lot for sale in the south of scotland.

Seriously, I'm thinking about selling my soul and going and buying her, even though I have no need, time or space (plus she'd be so wasted on me!).

I have lost the will to live too and have stopped looking for now. Been horse-hunting for over a year, on and off, and I think half the trouble is that everyone can write a good advert, so they all sound good, and it's more important to find out the bits that are not being said.

If people were more accurate and honest with their descriptions, perhaps we wouldn't all be wasting our time looking at the wrong horses.

It's very difficult deciding how far to go and where to draw the line - I stayed within about an hours drive, you can go further but you have to take into account you are going to want to go and see the horse at least twice and then get a vetting done so a minimum of 3 visits and then transporting back none of this is cheap especially with the rising fuel costs. I've had friends do a 6 hour round trip only to find an unsuitable horse was waiting there.

If you saw her and she was the one just think of all the miles and hours you'd save travellilng time and again to see something closer!! I breed dogs and think nothing of driving 7-8 hours to use the right dog. It is worthwhile in the end.

Scotland really is too far. I like the first horse Hollywozzle. Anyone know of any reputable dealers North West area?
