Hi I'm from West Yorkshire and I'm interested in going hunting with my pony for the frist time. Would anyone be able to advise me on good places near by, preferably that are suited for the less experienced people and not full of big jumps? Thanks

Its fine BBD! I'm hoping poeple have had some experiences around my area and would like to share as I reallly want to take my pony out hunting!

Rockwood Harriers hunt in South and West Yorkshire - they used to have a non jumping field master. It may be a bit late in the season now but they do run lots of newcomer days in Aug/Sept time which are very good if you haven't been before. They have a website if you google them.

Rockwood actually have a newcomer day coming up. All the jumps on those are optional.
